CHARACTER MISE EN SCENE- COSTUME

Meg played the role of the murderer (originally Trent Haywood), who we re-casted from a male, to a woman, as at the last minute our actor couldn't make it.
The character wears casual/smart clothing, to show the normality of the character before the murder. This eliminates the chances of being caught by people in everyday situations.
The black jeans, and red jumper with a collar is seen to be normal everyday clothing of people, so we put the character in these clothes.
Alex played the role for the killer, Elijah. As fitting in with the character mise-en-scene post, he needs to be seen as a killer. We dressed him in smart clothing, with a white shirt and black jeans, and a black coat. We dressed him in smarter/mature colors to fit in with his personality and clean cut look. his hair was slicked back, and the use of black connotes the ideas of darkness which would mirror the characters mental state.
